Question: Have you edited 10-bit 4:2:2 V-Log footage with your Mac Studio? If so, how did it go? Smooth playback, no stutter? My PC's fans are quite noisy when rendering a video or doing an audio mixdown so I'll appreciate that silent Mac Studio!

The fan noise: That's so nice that the miniaturization of technology in computers makes it now possible to run way more efficiently and generate less heat that before. I will have to get familiar with that Mac environment again.

Same here, long time PC user for 20 years but I worked with Macs in college almost 30 years ago. I already have my copy of Resolve Studio, and I bought a GH5 in 2021.

Still working my way around Mac OS but of course once in Resolve there is no difference between PC and Mac. Not yet tried noise reduction etc that may point out a difference. Render times to h265 are about 25% faster though than render on the PC with NVENC. It took 02:33 to render it on my 16GB Mac Mini M1 in Resolve Studio 17.1.1 with ' Use hardware acceleration if available ' ticked. Two track multicam GH5/GH5S UHD 60P plays smoothly so no real difference there to the PC though seems to play Fusion titles a little quicker.
